Marvin Appel, Ph.D., M.D., is president of Signalert Asset Management in Great Neck, New York, which manages $210 million in client assets in mutual funds, exchangetraded funds (ETFs) and individual stocks and bonds using technical analysis and active asset allocation strategies.
Appel is editor of Systems and Forecasts, a highly regarded newsletter on technical analysis that his father, Gerald Appel, started in 1973.
